Urban Toll
Year 2050. The blueprints didn't survive. Neither will you, if you're not paying attention.
Imagen you've traveled back to a city with nothing standing and twenty days on the clock. Build with what you have houses, farms, shops, parks and figure out the rest yourself, because nobody's going to tell you how.
This the whole point. This game doesn't hold your hand, it is meant to be hard, unlike many games there isn't a formula the game will teach you, you need to experiment observe and remember.
But here's the twist that the better you get at building, the harder the city gets to keep alive. Five resources Population, Food, Money, Happiness, Climate all pulling against each other, and every building you make also costs you something every single day.
Every action led to consequences, do not repeat the same mistakes.
Sorry if the game is too hard, I did try to make it easier, but at one point I made it too easy, and the whole point of the game is meant to be hard. So, here's a challenge for you, can you beat my game with all 13 buildings on deck? Have fun with my puzzle city builder and roast me helpfully if you found this game bad (I didn't have as much time as I wanted on this project, but oh well) this is my first semi-solo game jam.
Shout out to DaGoat for helping with the UI and balancing, and a special shout out to Nvvn, who allowed me to use their great music — by the way, they're really underrated, so check out their YT-Nvvn - YouTube
This game is an adapted version of the 2026 gmtk entry 20 days Till survival, made within the time frame
Tip: For the best experience, click the fullscreen button in the Unity player bar when you launch the game, it's built for a bigger screen, you can also drag the screen to move.

Holy this is hard. You were not kidding. It does take a lot of experimenting to see what works better at the moment and what to do moving forward.
One thing to criticise: the text in the whole ui is too small to read. I could barely see what is written on each building description and what the numbers are..
The main menu and text box from the tutorial guy is fine.
I can't reach the fullscreen button :(
Oh, my bad i should have tried harder to make it playable for non-Fullscreen. Is there anything i could help
